Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai

Image
T his post is dedicated to introducing my Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai . I have made this podcast with an intention to connect to people through my voice. This is not only a means of sharing my views and stories with the world but is also a medium to talk to myself.   A podcast is a good medium to connect with people as it does not demand the attention of your eyes; all it wants from you is to lend your ears. Often when you are commuting on a bus or in a metro, listening to a podcast can be a great idea: All you need is an earphone and bingo! My Podcast - Bus Kahani Hai has a Trailer as an introduction and episodes that are published from time to time. All the episodes so far have been archived below with dedicated links for one-click listening. Also, it is my humble request to leave your valuable feedback and comments on this post or on my  Instagram page   https://www.instagram.com/neoimaginations/     Twitter handle  Bus Kahani Hai              Latest Episodes Episode 4 : Khidki Ke Baa

My first Liebster Blog Award

It is my debut blog award and therefore very special. Visiting the blogosphere I saw you residence at renowned blog walls. I always coveted you to be mine someday. Always thought someday I will have one to my blog too. Seeing my friend bloggers nominations, my eyes always searched the list for my name secretly without even letting me know that I was looking for myself.

They say, you get what you are attracted for, what you dream for. So violating all boundaries of time and probabilities you reached me much before I expected you though craved for you. Thank you Kavya for giving me this privilege and a major morale boost. Also I thank all my dear readers who ushered me with “Liebster Blog Award”.

Liebster (the word means kindest, dearest, beloved, cute, endearing in German) is an award that you accept with an intention of paying it forward. Having received one I learnt that it is a blogger to blogger award and has a handing over tradition. This means that I can nominate my co bloggers and motivate others. This is a beautiful tradition and I appreciate this act.

While accepting the award you have to:
a. Post 11 things about yourself

b. Answer 11 questions set by the nominator

c. Choose 11 deserving bloggers meeting the criteria
d. Set 11 questions for them.
e. Inform the nominee by commenting on one of their posts.
You are not obligated to accept the award to send it forward. This is just a way to get a word out about new blogs that your followers may not know.

a. 11 things about Myself
1. I am a mallu (keralite) though I do not know Malyalam.
2. I am a Muslim with a Hindu name.
3. I am a part-time love guru..
4. I am nocturnal. My best works have been a result of my late night efforts (LOL)
5. I try to be philosophical when I find it difficult to be practical.
6. I secretly dream of addressing a press conference on the eve of my new book release.
7. I love ear buds and use it more often than required.
8. I love to eat and cook. I have some patent dishes to my credit.
9. I am short temper at times.
10. I often cry watching emotional scenes in movie. I prefer to sit with a hand towel to hide my face at those instances.
11. I am an average person. Sometimes over rated and sometimes under estimated of what I am capable of.

b. Answer 11 questions set by the nominator

1. Since how many months/years have you been blogging? Feb 2011. Though on a serious note I would say just a month back.

2. How many close family members do you have as followers on your blog?
Two family members my wife and my brother. My best friends are not following me.

3. Has any family member/close friend been offended by what you might have written about them in your blog? You could elaborate if you wish. No.

4. What has been the biggest challenge in blogging so far?
Battling for more time to blog, against my wife s wishes. (the word ‘more’ was added later, on wife s insistence )

5. What is the best blogging time in the day for you?
Early mornings and sometimes late nights.

6. If you had just one piece of good advice to give a fresh blogger, what would it be?
By the time you learn the art of promoting and searching readers for your blog you lose a great deal on the art of writing your blog. So try to create a balance between the two.

7. How many incomplete posts have you written that you somehow couldn't complete? Why so?
Many infact. They are still in the draft mode because I could nt feel the same as I felt when I wrote them.

8. How has blogging helped you as a person?
As a person I have become more sensitive to the world around. I understand that m being read by others so I also feel the responsibility of not hurting someone’s sentiments and write in the right direction.

9. What is your ultimate blogging goal? Does it have a timeline?
No specific goals. But I feel over excited to imagine, down the line my children and grand-children will be reading me and tracing the phases of my life and the bygone era.

10. Do you have a friend who is also a blogger? Do you compete?
Yes I do have. No we don’t.

11. Give me your honest opinion about MY blog.
I love your blog for its brevity and how you make your moment count. I would suggest adding pics to your blog. It would add magic to your already magical posts.
